Xoom Africa Cancellation Policy

At Xoom Africa, we understand that plans may change. Below is our cancellation and refund policy, including all applicable fees.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • More than 3 months before the trip – Full refund, minus a 10% cancellation fee and a 2% Stripe processing fee.

  • 1 to 3 months before the trip50% refund, minus a 2% Stripe processing fee.

  • Less than 1 month before the tripNo refund.

Deposit & Payment Terms

  • Deposit to secure a booking: 10% of the total trip cost (non-refundable).

  • Cancellation within 2 weeks of deposit (before the first installment) – Refund of any additional payments, minus a 2% processing fee.

  • Cancellation after the first installment but before the final payment (2 weeks to 3 months before the trip) – Refund of any payments beyond the 10% deposit, minus a 2% processing fee.

  • Cancellation within 3 months of the trip (when final payment is due)No refund.

Important Information

  • Stripe charges a 2% non-refundable processing fee, which will be deducted from any refunds.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • Cancellations must be requested in writing via email to info@xoomafrica.com.

Exceptions

In cases of serious illness, natural disasters, or unavoidable emergencies, we may review the cancellation on a case-by-case basis.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations.

By booking with Xoom Africa, you accept these terms, including the non-refundable 10% deposit and the 2% processing fee on refunds.
