Welcome to Xoom Africa! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all bookings and use of our website and services. By making a booking with Xoom Africa Ltd, you agree to be bound by the Terms outlined below.

2. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on a trip.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than [insert number, e.g. 60] days before the trip start date.
Bookings made within [insert number, e.g. 60] days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.
Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your booking.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
At Xoom Africa, we understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation and refund policy below:
Refund Policy:
More than 3 months before the trip: Full refund, minus a 10% cancellation fee and a 2% Stripe processing fee.
1 to 3 months before the trip: 50% refund, minus a 2% Stripe processing fee.
Less than 1 month before the trip: No refund.
Deposit & Payment Terms:
A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
If you cancel within 2 weeks of paying the deposit (and before your first installment), you will receive a refund of any additional payments made, minus a 2% processing fee.
If you cancel after the first installment but before the final payment (2 weeks to 3 months before the trip), we will refund all payments made beyond the 10% deposit, minus a 2% processing fee.
If you cancel within 3 months of the trip (after the final payment is due), no refund will be issued.
Processing Fees & Timelines:
Stripe charges a non-refundable 2% processing fee, which is deducted from all refunds.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
How to Cancel: All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@xoomafrica.com.
Exceptions: In rare cases involving serious illness, natural disasters, or unavoidable emergencies, we may review your case individually at our discretion.
By Xoom Africa:
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any trip due to insufficient numbers, unforeseen events, or safety concerns. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory. You must provide proof of valid travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal belongings prior to departure.
5. Health & Safety
You are responsible for ensuring you are fit and able to participate in trip activities.
You must inform us in advance of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or special needs.
Our trips involve adventurous activities. By joining, you accept the inherent risks involved.
6. Passports, Visas & Vaccinations
You are responsible for ensuring you meet all entry requirements for the country/countries visited, including:
Valid passport (minimum 6 months’ validity)
Relevant visas
Required vaccinations and health certifications
7. Code of Conduct
We foster a respectful and inclusive environment on all our trips. Xoom Africa reserves the right to remove any traveler whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, or unsafe, without refund.
8. Limitation of Liability
Xoom Africa is not liable for injury, loss, damage, or delay caused by third parties or events outside our control (e.g. natural disasters, strikes, travel restrictions).
We are not responsible for any missed flights or personal expenses incurred due to changes in itinerary.
9. Use of Media
By participating in a Xoom Africa trip, you consent to the use of photographs and videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such media, please inform us in writing prior to departure.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Updates to These Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
